Liverpool SciBar It's Science in a Bar

Venue: SciBar is held at the Ship and Mitre, 113 Dale Street, Liverpool L2 2JH. We meet in the upstairs room; turn right immediately as you enter the porch and climb the stairs.

Timings: SciBar is held at 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of the month and is usually finished by 9.00 - 9.30pm, although informal discussion can go on later. There is usually a comfort break after about 45 minutes, but anyone is free tocome and go as they wish.

Getting there & Parking: The Ship and Mitre is at the extreme east end of Dale Street within 7-8 minutes walk of Lime Street Station. There is a small open air Pay & Display opposite the pub and under the Churchill Way flyover.

Food & Drink: Drinks and meals can be purchased from the Bar and taken into the SciBar; please have a large sip before climbing the stairs to prevent spillage (it would be a shame to waste any beer).

Facilities for Speakers : A digital projector is available for speakers to use with their laptop. If necessary a laptop can also be provided by prior arrangement.
